Thoriq began his journey in 2004 at the age of 4 years old, following the steps of his brother, Sugeng Madeira. It started with Capoeira, growing under Grupo Senzala Capoeira Indonesia. He became one of the most influential and inspiring young practitioners in the community, alongside with his brother, who pioneered in developing Capoeira in Indonesia. Martial arts has been a passion and a form of life expression that led him to become a teacher. He has continued his journey with Salsa dance since 2015 and teaching with his brother at the Yoga Barn Ubud since 2017. Thoriq devoted his life to developing his passion towards movement awareness and a sustainable body. Therefore, he dived deep into the philosophy of Yoga by practing it on and outside of the mat. He completed his 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Bliss Lembongan by Gwendoline Ferreira in 2020 and has been teaching yoga around his community. Thoriq loves sharing all his talents, knowledge and value with the world.
